We are so excited to begin our 11th year as a women’s running club! I think it’s appropriate our year begins in April, as we greet a new season of running and racing, head back outside on the roads and the Weston track after our long and history-making snowy winter, and celebrate the new growth in our club membership. Our group is strong and vibrant; we’ve welcomed many new runners of all different abilities and we continue to have the dedicated support of members who’ve been part of the club for many years.
We’re glad to have Kathleen Woodward join our board of directors as Treasurer, taking over the books from Margaret Randle who kept us well balanced for many years. As the board is always eager to hear your thoughts and ideas for the club, please feel free to share them with us.
As we continue to support and encourage each other in our running goals, we look forward to seeing you at our weekly workouts, on training runs, therapy runs and joyful runs…hopefully in shorts, t-shirts and sunshine.

Outdoor Workouts Begin. The snow has melted! The sun is shining! We will be meeting outdoors again at the Weston High School track beginning April 15. Please be warmed up and ready to go at 9 am. Parking may be tight in the Weston High School parking lot, you can also park up on Route 30 above the track.
Tuesday Night Group Runs. Looking for a group to run with in the evening? Join us on Tuesday nights beginning April 28 at the Weston High School track at 6:30 pm. We will do the workout SSRC does on Wednesdays. No membership required, just show up! Email Mary at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
