Runners Raising Funds This page lists our SSRC runners who are raising money for charity.
MARY KACHADURIAN is riding the 2008 Pan Mass Challenge. The PMC raises money for cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through its Jimmy Fund. This year, with over 5000 riders registered and countless volunteers committing their time to support the riders, the goal is to raise $34 million. Of the money raised in 2007, 100% of every dollar went to Dana Farber for cancer research and treatment. Mary will be riding 163 miles from Wellesley to Provincetown, over 2 days, in the fight against cancer. Click here to support Mary where you can make a donation online by entering her name. SARAH NIXON is recruiting women to run the Tufts Health Plan 10k and raise funds for the Fit Girls Grant Program giving girls in under served communities in Boston the opportunity to participate in this uplifting running and reading program.
